In response to THIS EMAIL that Lindsay's little sister, Ali, wrote to a journalist this morning, estranged father Michael is talking to OK! Magazine about Ali's allegations that he is the reason for Lindsay's latest legal woes.
OK! What is the first thing that went through your mind when you heard?About Ali's letter?
Michael Lohan: I said, ‘Get me on the phone with David Kaplan.' For Ali t say that I was never there and I'm lying…People who have known us for 25 years know that I have always been there for my kids. These lies have got to stop because they are having an effect on my children. We don't realize in life is that what I do affects my kids.
OK! Is it a chain reaction?
Michael: Absolutely, it's a reciprocal effect; it's like a pebble in a pond. Everyone gets affected by it, but we don't realize it and I certainly didn't in my life and I should have. Now you get these things on VH-1 being written by my daughter Ali. Ali was too young to remember any of this. And you know what, reflect back on Lindsay's soundtrack, “Daughter to Father, Confessions of a Broken Heart,” read the words — “I wait for the postman to bring me a letter, I wait for the good lord to make me better, I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, a family in crisis that only gets older.” And then she goes on to say, “where are you now daddy I love you, I love you.” It's a story of love and caring about a father.
OK! You just want your daughters to be happy? In the end that's what a father wants for their children, to be happy?
Michael: I just wanted to help. You know I just wanted to be there for my kids and make Lindsay a success. She's blessed and gifted.
OK!: Are you proud of Lindsay?
Michael: Lindsay is my daughter, I love her to death. You know if I could serve the time for her in jail I would myself, if they allowed me to I would. If I could die for my kids I would. I gladly, without a blink of an eye, give my life for my children. And that's what it's about, loving my kids.
Please, for the love of God and the well being of their daughter, ALL of the Lohans should shut the eff up! ESPECIALLY Michael! But that includes Dina, Ali and - yes - even Lindsay's grandmother!

Angelina Jolie may be opening the door to a future relationship with her estranged father, Jon Voight.
"I am hoping my relationship with my father will be more private in the future," Jolie told the U.K.'s Evening Standard newspaper in an interview this week. “At the end of the day we both wish the best for each other and we'll try to start communicating in some way."
Jolie and Voight have had little, if any, contact since 2002, when Voight made comments to Access Hollywood suggesting that she was unstable. The 32-year-old actress has made it clear in interviews that she had no time for Voight, whom she also claimed cheated on her late mother, French actress Marcheline Bertrand.

''She writes all of her songs,'' said Archie Pena, a drummer and songwriter who has worked with Shakira since she was 17. ``She's involved inside and out, in every single detail of the songs, the album, the performance, her dresses.''
Shakira's story began in Barranquilla, a port city of high-rise apartments, turn-of-the-century mansions and gritty warehouse districts along the Caribbean coast. The daughter of a frustrated writer of Lebanese descent and a Colombian mother, Shakira recalls wanting to become a writer at 4, intrigued as she was by her father's constant tapping on his banged-up typewriter.
She wrote her first song at 8, Your Dark Glasses, about her father. Two years later, she was certain she wanted to be a singer. It seems that one of the singular events in her life was the night her father, William Mebarak, took her to a Middle Eastern restaurant; hearing the traditional Arab drum, Shakira began to dance, to the delight of other diners.

I do my job and let everyone else handle themselves
and let the critics take care of themselves and know
that I can't control any of it or how long it lasts.

Tom Cruise

ANGELES -- Tom Cruise's production company,
which broke ties with Paramount Pictures last week in
an unusually public dispute, has signed a two-year financing
deal with an investment partnership headed by Washington
Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.
The deal between Cruise/Wagner Productions and First
& Goal LLC covers overhead and development, which
will allow Cruise and producing partner Paula Wagner
to run their company and make deals to produce films,
some conceivably starring Cruise.
Financial terms were not disclosed for the pact, which
has an option to renew for a longer term.
Cruise/Wagner still must find someone to finance production
of those films and a company to distribute them.
Previously, Paramount had the first right to finance
and distribute Cruise/Wagner films. In exchange, Paramount
paid the producers as much as $10 million per year for
salaries, expenses and discretionary spending. Paramount
had offered a much lower amount to renew the deal, closer
to $2 million annually, before talks broke off.
First & Goal was set up specifically to invest
in Cruise/Wagner. Snyder also heads an investment partnership
that controls amusement park operator Six Flags Inc.,
among other companies. Former ESPN executive Mark Shapiro,
who heads Six Flags, will oversee the investment in
Cruise/Wagner, the companies said Monday.
"This gives us the opportunity to work with all
the studios and broadens our base," Wagner said
Monday.
Long-simmering tensions between Cruise/Wagner and Paramount
Pictures erupted last week with a public spanking of
Cruise by Sumner Redstone, chairman of Paramount parent
Viacom Inc.
 Redstone
broke ties with Cruise through an interview in the Wall
Street Journal, saying the actor's public behavior,
including jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey's couch,
and his aggressive defense of Scientology, alienated
moviegoers and cost Paramount money at the box office.
Redstone claimed Cruise's antics cost Paramount between
$100 million and $150 million in ticket
sales for the actor's latest film, "Mission: Impossible
III."
Wagner slammed Redstone last week, calling his comments
"surprising" and unbusinesslike.
She said last week it was their decision not to renew
their 14-year partnership with Paramount, choosing instead
to follow a long-standing desire to make smaller, character-driven
films on their own.
On Monday, Shapiro brushed off any discussion of Cruise's
behavior or Redstone's comments, preferring to focus
on Cruise's proven box-office appeal.
"We're entrepreneurs and we like exploring new
opportunities that present an excellent chance for success
and innovation," Shapiro said.

and Wagner emphasized that Cruise's last two films for
Paramount, "War of the Worlds,"
and "Mission: Impossible III," grossed about
$1 billion worldwide combined.
"We believe that Cruise and Wagner are a terrific
investment," Shapiro said. "The track record
speaks for itself."
The deal was brokered by talent agency CAA, which represents
Cruise. Discussions with First & Goal began earlier
this month, the companies said.
Last week, Wagner said her company had secured financing
from two hedge funds to produce films. She declined
to comment on those arrangements Monday.
Monday's deal does continues to allow Cruise to star
in films produced or distributed by any studio, the
same terms he had under his deal with Paramount.

Jennifer Lopez closes the book

Lopez has won an injunction banning her ex-husband from
publishing a tell-all book about her life.
Ojani Noa, who was married to the Latin beauty for
just 11 months in 1997, had threatened to publish intimate
details about their marriage.
He has now agreed to a preliminary injunction, which
will stop him publishing anything about the star's life
until their lawsuit is settled.
He is also barred from "criticising or denigrating"
the singer.
Both sides are now being urged to resolve their dispute
"without engaging in further litigation".
J.Lo, 36, sued Noa in April after hearing he was planning
to write the tell-all book.
According to her lawsuit, Cuban-born Noa's plans were
revealed in an article in America's New York Post in

Naomi Campbell Charged With Assault in NY

YORK (Reuters) - Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested
at her Park Avenue home on Thursday and charged with
assaulting her housekeeper with a cell phone, New York
City police said.
Campbell, who was later released, could face up to seven
years in prison after she was charged with second degree
assault for throwing a cell phone at housekeeper Ana
Scolavino. Police said it struck her on the back of
the head and opened a cut that needed four staples.

of a baby girl, Suri, today," Cruise's rep said
in a statement after PEOPLE first broke the news Tuesday

March 2 , 2006. --Actress Jessica Alba, who appears
in a bikini on the cover of Playboy's March issue, is
threatening to sue the magazine, claiming that Hugh
Hefner & Co. are trying to make it seem that she
appears in a "nude or semi-nude pictorial."
In a February 23 legal threat letter, a copy of which
you'll find below, Alba's lawyer demands that Playboy
cease distributing the magazine and provide the 25-year-old
actress with a "monetary settlement" for its
unauthorized use of her image for commercial purposes.

a former pornographic magazine editor, the 68-year-old
actress made a video of herself and her third husband
in a threesome.
In a new book, Allen MacDonnell claims the Oscar-winner
was filmed with media mogul Ted Turner while he had
sex with a brunette.
Two other ex-editors of 'Hustler' magazine also allege
they've seen the tape. Turner's spokesman and Fonda's
spokeswoman yesterday (03.01.06) said each was "unavailable

It was a good night for the rock
group U2 at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Wednesday
night. The Irish band won five Grammys, including the

comeback for singer Mariah Carey.

in the road. Phoenix-based broker David Hans Schmidt,
known as the "Sultan of Sleaze" due to his
ties to the celebrity porn industry, has announced plans
to auction off a slew of the hotel heiress' possessions
for the bargain price of $20 million.
The items in question, including clothing, furniture,
computers, personal journals, photos and videotapes,
were stored by Hilton in a Los Angeles storage unit
while she was in the process of moving from one house
